UC Berkeley - Management of Technology Program
The Management of Technology program is a joint consortium between the Haas School of Business, the College of Engineering and the School of Information Management and Systems. It is a research program for graduate students to address critical technology issues.
The Management of Technology Program seeks to address a number of technology management challenges. We define Management of Technology as the set of activities associated with bringing high technology products to the marketplace. MOT focuses on the operational and organizational issues associated with managing new product development and commercialization. These activities ranges from the strategic process associated with development of technology capabilities inside and outside the firm, to the details of understanding customer needs, fabricating a prototype product or creating advertising copy.
