Cathy has spent more than two decades working in and around media and communications. As a Journalist, Cathy's experience encompasses reporting, writing, editing, broadcast management, as well as media training and strategy development. She also has held a number of agency and corporate PR positions developing and leading public relations campaigns. Currently Cathy drives business development efforts in the Bay Area for Porter Novelli, one of the world’s largest communications firms. Prior to Porter Novelli, Cathy built and managed one of the largest, centralized Talent and Booking Departments in the cable industry for TechTV (now G4TechTV) – a national network dedicated to technology and the lifestyle that comes with it.
A graduate of Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism, Cathy currently lives in San Francisco, CA, and blogs at www.otherthanthat.com.
