A pioneer in the Internet sector and open source software community, Dick Hardt has been active in software development for nearly two decades.
Prior to founding Sxip Identity, Hardt founded ActiveState in 1997.
Hardt ported one of the first LAN email packages to Windows 1.03 in 1986 and later joined Paradigm Development. In 1993 Dick connected Paradigm to the Internet and later founded hip Communications, which became one of the larger web development and hosting companies in western Canada.
As an entrepreneur and technology expert, Hardt speaks at conferences and holds a board position with the Vancouver Enterprise Forum. He blogs at http://blame.ca/dick.
